In 2015 my husband Ethan Azarian and I had Blue Cow Studio built in our back yard after working and exhibiting in our home in East Austin since 2004 (we named it the In House Gallery). We knew the time would come when working and exhibiting in our home would no longer be a viable option as our house is a/ 900 square feet and b/ we had our son Francis in 2009. We are so grateful to have our studio and now enjoy working in it and also exhibiting during East Austin Studio Tour each November. Blue Cow Studio has been a life changer for us both personally and professionally.
In November, 2018 we launched our Patreon page. If you're not sure what Patreon is, Patreon is a way for people to support their favorite artists and musicians on a monthly basis for the cost of a city bus ticket or cup of coffee. What it does for the artists is that it helps to give them a little more financial stability. Think of it as an investment in the arts in your community, much the same as a Spring/Fall Pledge Drive for our local (and beloved) radio stations KOOP and KUT/KUTX. Visit our Patreon page patreon.com/bluecowstudio for more info. Thanks very much for your support!
